Do things really go around in cycles?

For me I think it does.

Every thing in this world has a cycle.

The rain falls from the skies, evaporates, condenses into clouds, and then falls as rain again.

The moon disappears, and shows its face every 15 days.

Even the average school day… it is a cycle we all have to endure through..

Is it the same for relationships?

I am not sure, but watching from the people around me I think I can safely come to this conclusion.. It has a cycle too.

Ashhao’s Theory of Relationships

The following may be offensive to some of the people out there in relationships, but if you sit back and look around you, chances are this are very true. It may be cynical, but its the result you get when you stare at the darken walls in a dark room for too long...

First, there was the Look.

You know that people that are in love mostly say that it is that 1^st look, the 1^st impression that leaves behind a desire to know the person more.. Guess that is what they call electrifying. Funny how we always say that we do not judge a person by his looks, but by his character, yet, most of the time it is always the good looks that attract people first.

Then, there was the Bliss.

Alright, the 2 parties involved managed to pluck up enough courage and confront one another, and are surprised that the both of them think the same way! They fall into this period of absolute bliss and happiness, like they have found their life partners already. Movies, flowers, mushy notes/letters cover this period. Generally, this is the point where love runs deepest, and how it affects judgment later.

Then, there was the Grey Clouds.

Something happened, and they slowly grow mistrustful of one another. There are fewer movies, notes, flowers. Normally, it’s the guy that has done something that suggested the wrong message to the girl. Girls tend to read so much deeper than guys, but they hardly know, we think from different perspectives, and certain things we see differently. The misunderstanding grows to something huge, and the gap widens. However, there is still chance of salvaging. If the male gives in, all will be fine, and let the memories of the past flow in, it will go back to the period of Bliss. However, should the problem unsettled…

Thunder. Lightning.

It is game over for both parties. One of the sides will feel extreme disgust for the other side, and the break up happens. However, should they try to get into another relationship, they will feel something pricking at them, and the memories will come back to haunt them..

BUT

There are this small group of people, whose fate has been written in the heavens, they are destined to be with one another, and they shall always stay in the period of Bliss, till their hairs turn white, their skin, grows wrinkled. But until the day that the destined one appears, all shall be stuck in the cycle a forth mentioned.
