Seen in The New Paper.
A teacher asked her class of students to name out the 7 wonders of the world. Many named the various scenes and sights and even food they ate before that they thought were wonderful.
"Paris!" said a kid. "The Great Wall of China?" "Carrotcake!" "The Pyramids!"
The teacher noticed that although all the kids shouted out their version of the 7 wonders, there was this little girl sitting in a corner.
The teacher asked, " So what's your version of the 7 wonders of the world".
The little girl replied.
"Well, mine is not about the places and stuff.. I dunno if its correct but... My 7 wonders are the ability to feel, to see, to touch, to hear, to taste, to love and to be alive.."
The classroom went silent...
how many times have we really sat down and recalled and to even give thanks for the simple things around us?
treasure the present, and try to hold the future.

its been a long time since i updated this blog.. guess i'm kinda caught up with the photography part of me that i nearly forgets that this blog existed...
i wonder if anyone still remembers that i have another blog?

a lot of people are going overseas for their holidays. i'm staying in singapore due to the fact that council kills. parents are trying to grab some family holiday time during the 2 week break i get from council.
been trying to keep myself fit, but failing quite miserable due to the fact that when one is trapped home, he tends to eat lots of junk food. really worried about my weight now.. should control WILL POWER!!!
so many things have happened these past few days.
literature enrichment classes was really interesting. joy as a bimbotic miranda, paul with his version of prospero.. donnovan with the sexy back caliban...
jianle being a kid.. AS USUAL. hahah
not sure if there is a class chalet due to the last mintue arrangements.. haiz.
abit sianed right now..
should get myself chlorinated tml..
my brain runs wild, with thoughts of you dominating it. should i or should i not?

"you say it best, when you say nothing at all"
words are sometimes not really needed to explain how we feel. all it takes, is the thought.
that is perhaps the most apt statement that summerizes tonight's events. we showed up, we had some food, we had fun and we basically just enjoyed one another's company. not much was said. the TV was making most of the noise. we gathered around the TV, watching programmes.
the loud wacking sound of the tiles on the majong table. the occasional "2 spades" and the usual gestures of jubilation upon winning.
not much was said, but as far as i am concerned, we are still bonded.
hell, i may be wrong,
but if this is a misinterpretation, let it stay that way.
for it is the most beautiful dream.
