It takes only 36 slides, to write down the true meaning of life.
And it takes someone with a mental condition, to see what we cannot.
To see what we have chosen to blind ourselves.
XiaoKang, rest in peace.

Long long time ago, There was this bird that just sung once in its life. From the moment it left its nest, It went in search of the longest , sharpest thorn.
Carried away by the rapture of the song, The bird impaled itself, On the longest, sharpest thorn.
As she was dying, She rose above her own agony to out sing the lark and the nightingale.
Driven by the thorn, with no thought of the death to come...
Given a chance to start over again, I guess I would still choose the pain of the thorn.

The True Meaning of Christmas?
These photos were taken during last night on my way home.
What I thought of Christmas was a time of sharing, a time of love and basically giving thanks to what we have.
Evidently, this thought has been lost in many if not all of Singapore. People are throwing what they have away, in search of better things, newer items.
What is Christmas now? A season, not for giving, but for throwing?
There are endless amounts of things that we can try and even spend our entire lives chasing after. Big houses, shiny cars, expensive jewelery, the list is endless.
Yet, these are only material possessions and we can never hold on to them forever and ever.
Times published their Person of the Year award issue recently.
The Person of the Year is... You.
That's what it says.
Have we become all so self-centred in our pursuit for fame, fortune? It is now always me, myself and I.
Why?
Why can't we love one another, care for our peers and just be friends?
Isn't it much more simple to do just that?
There is no need for us to hide behind masks.
There is no need for anyone to pretend.
We can love.
And on this Christmas Eve, I hope that you remember that on this very evening 2006 years ago, a man was born, and he loved everyone; and died for everyone.
He alone, took up the sins of Man upon his shoulders and hoped that the world would be better, after he made amendments in place of us.
Have a merry Christmas

I like the quietness of the night.
Tonight is a bit different. Perhaps it's because of the monsoon season. Perhaps it's because there is a unsettling feeling within me that does not allow me to sleep. Too many things to recall and think about.
The rain crashes from the heavens as I type.
A prolonged rainstorm.Cleansing. Most do love the smell of freshness in the air after the rain has passed.
The sound of rumbling thunder resonates around the world. A sharp flash of lightning; that breaks the darkness temporarily.
There is no rain that does not subside. Any storm we may face will all come to an end.
All it takes, is a person to stand under this storm, and challenge its authority.

the clown that wears, a pair of cheap glass shoes. dances so ever slowly, within the windows. living in its own world. imagining to be the greatest amongst them all.
pray not, should a stone break the window. for the pain that would be felt, far exceeds that of the stone.

always look @ the bright side of life.
so the verse goes. i cant see sunlight right now. not even any kind of light. not even vaguely.
the sun may be shining brightly for some, yet for me the world looks kinda black and white.
i have no idea why.
no purpose in life?
i dun want to really know. i want to do something, but cant pin point that something.
i know what is important and what is not important, yet it is also this fact that makes it difficult to make decisions.
the morally correct and the morally wrong, i know. but sometimes its the heart that triumphs over the brain.
i look back in my year now pass. i have achieved nothing.
why?
