Its been such a bloody long time since I last blogged... So many things happening... So many of them...
Camp. Friends. Council. New Zealand. Homework. Test. Project Work.
There is just too much to talk about, to much to say about the world around me.
A.) Council Camp: Though it was only a 2 day 1 night camp, I think it bonded the council up. Let me try to remember... It was a nice morning that day. 20 of the 30 that were supposed to turn up arrived. Hanged around at the foyer and talk about what we were gonna do at camp, what we were gonna buy when we were over the border. Compared passports, and realized that our council is really multi-national. We got filipinos, american, malaysians, singaporeans, thais. Wow! Camp instructors were late.. The buses were even later! Chickadee and Zouk and Hamid. 3 very interesting personalities with a common goal : To make us bond.
Chickadee's real name is actually Shermanie. From far you would not think of her as a girl. Her hair is even shorter than some of the other guys hair. A very down-to-earth person, she seems to prefer to get things done and see the results ASAP. A very engimatic soul, she chats and mixes with us easily, kind of like a (fatherly?) figure that encourages and is always behind supporting us.
Zouk, the comedian of the trio. His face is the kind that you look at it and the 1st thought that comes to your mind is, *Hey... He's a FUN guy*. Cracks jokes like nobody's business, and probably the least serious among all the instructors. One can almost picture him in a disc jockey outfit in some hotspot disco spinning tracks and bringing the crowd to a high. Much like a brother/sister to most of us, though he does keep his distance? Why??
Hamid, the serious. His the man, who ensures everything must get done and will get done in the way it needs to be done. Gives all the instructions, on how to protect oneself. God he is dammed serious! Reminds me of myself in some ways, uptight and kinda serious.
The bus was SUPER late... God knows why it was that dammed late... By that time we were already seperated into 2 groups. I was with Shaowen and the other dudes from Communications?? I dunno... Boarded the bus. Stoned and basically observed how everyone was being crazy. Saw how loving Daniel was with Heiman LOL! Reached checkpoint. More talk was exchanged. Joked about how easy it would be to steal a machine gun from the guards... Malaysia! After checkpoint, negotiated for a stop. Shi Min and Xin Yi when nuts and bought a whole freaking box of bubble gum... Everyone had a Ramily burger, and I think it was said to be the official Council food.. Too bad Yi-Bin wasn't there... Chances are she would have gone bonkers... =P
To be continued.. ( Way too tired and the Geo. Homework isn't helping much)
P.S. New Zealand really taught me how to be more optimistic and cheery.. Guess that's why I feel like blogging out whatever I remember...
