Is this emotion we seek, So hard to determine? The ones thought to be the most incompatible, Paradoxically, Plays out to be the one for you.
A tear, A pearl. Items so incongruously similar, In an insanity that reflects truth. We wish for unblemished love, Hoping it lasts the eons. But time and again; are denied.
Fighting so hard for love. Is it that hard?
The wounds fade, The scars heal. Time would remove the pain. Yet, what is this ethereal pain, that strikes the very root of the soul; As the midnight bell tolls.
