It seems to be a common/recurring problem with me.
I'd always start writing a post, but find that i have no time or not enough content to continue till the end of the post. I've probably accumulated 10+ odd drafts that will never be published, but contains fragments of vulnerabilities that ought to be kept buried.
I figured it wouldn't be fair to the people who still come to my blog and do a look see if I've updated, so here goes.
It's been 14 days since I moved on from SISPEC to a new home. It's a rather good place, perched on a high knoll, with a good view of people and buildings around it. The air is slightly fresher up where I live, and that place really doesn't look much from the outside.
Settling in well enough with the bunkmates, and starting to acclimatize with what I'd call "Regimental Education", which isn't half as bad as it sounds.
Food's excellent for army camp standards, and, to keep the weight in check, we've got a unique Charlie PT session every other night.
We're finally hitting the first weekend that would require us to stay in on a Saturday, and with that one down, we're left with 3 more such Saturdays.
Guard duties are starting.
